-I don't know what came over me today. All day at work, I was all bleh. I didn't have any energy, and I couldn't concentrate. I had a little beer last night, but not nearly enough that I would be hung over. Even now I feel kind of out of it.

I hope this isn't the thyroid thing getting worse. If this keeps up, I'm going to go back to my doctor before the six months is up so I can get on these thyroid pills.

-Speaking of beers, my friends invited me to a street festival some Polish church in Jersey City was having. It was kind of odd going to something with my friends that my parents would have dragged me to when I was in my pre-teens. But they had homemade pierogies with sour cream, which I hadn't had in forever. That made the festival worthwhile.

-Weird Al's still got it. http://www.nerdist.com/vepisode/weird-al-yankovic-gets-tacky-with-pharrells-happy/

When Weird Al released the previous album a year or two ago, he said that this album would be his last. If that's true, then it's a shame, because he's one of the greats.

I wouldn't be surprised if the heat and humidity is leaving you out-of-it. I've heard the same kind of thing from a few people lately, so it's not just you.

I can relate to "funny how you had to be forced to do something as a kid but now you do it willingly as an adult". Maybe somehow just being exposed to it as a kid is enough to let it sink into your subconscious and get you into it. That could be to blame for me actually getting off my ass and out of the house to be active and socialize.

Admittedly, I probably wouldn't have gone to the event on my own, but with friends and a few beers it was fun.

Something you might find interesting, that will at least give you new questions to ask: http://bodyecology.com/articles/low_thyroid_symptoms.php#.U8XaFBw2Km0

I've definitely had some of those symptoms. I'll have to see if I can fit some of those lifestyle improvements in.

*hugs* Feel free to call me - I'm good at making tiny changes that make big differences. Despite how drastically I've changed my lifestyle - there was very little suffering along the way. The Body Ecology Diet by Donna Gates does a really good job of sharing the wisdom without making you feel like you have to change everything overnight - in fact it argues against it.

I really want some pierogies now. P.S. My autocorrect doesn't know what a pierogi is.
