So while I was looking for work back in January, one of the places that called me was a company that managed retirement savings, but operated as a triangle scam à la Amway. I kind of left an initial interview/meeting and gave them an open-ended response, not wanting to be rude to them but also not actually interested in the job.

The person from that office called me back today to see if I might still be interested in a position. Yeah, not so much.

She ended the conversation telling me to "have a nice life." I'm not sure if she was being nasty or what, but oh well.

It isn't quite fraud. This company does actually do a legitimate business, just that working your way into a well-paying position is damn near impossible. The handful of people that do make the cut and stick with it for a long enough time do actually end up making a bundle.

Not for me, though. I'll stick with a normal job, thankyouverymuch.
