You know it's bad out there when major retailers are having going-out-of-business sales in the middle of the holiday shopping season. Not to be fear-mongering or anything, but this has been impossible not to take note of.

What's worse is when you go to the Out-Of-Business sales in which everything is 40-80% off and you realize you STILL can't afford it... that was me at Linens-N-Things this weekend.

Same here. I went to the Linens & Things by me, and even with things half-off, I still decided I had better uses for my cash.
