Oct. 18th, 2020 10:00 pmDad is mending quite nicely from his hip replacement surgery last week. When I went to visit yesterday, he was able to answer the door and walk around carefully without too much trouble. Evidently, the surgery left his leg slightly longer than it was previously, but he'll just have to get used to that. Maybe if he has to have his other hip done in the future, his legs will even out.
My parents' dog seemed excited and wagged his tail when I arrived at their house, which is a marked change from how he used to behave when I showed up. He still doesn't totally trust me yet, but at least he doesn't fear me, and he seems happy to see me. I'll take it.
I tried to re-explain cut/copy/paste on teh cornputers to my dad. He still had that confused look on his face that he always did whenever I tried to teach him something on the computer. Oh well.
