Oct. 21st, 2019 11:49 pmI keep promising myself that I'll post more often than once every two months...
So I got my first flu shot since that fateful one four or five years ago that set off my migraines. I've been afraid to get another one, but my doctor talked me into it. It's been a week, and nothing weird has happened except for a slightly sore arm which went away. I can live with that.
The doctor had me go in for bloodwork after the appointment. I was a little apprehensive about that, since I've been eating like crap lately. Hopefully, I'm not going to get a phone call from my doctor telling me my A1C reading is off the charts or something.
I went to visit my parents yesterday. For a while, their dog was fine with me, letting me pet him while my dad and I sat on the couch and talked. Then later on, when I went to talk to my mom, the dog started growling at me and shrinking away from me, as if he was afraid that I was going to hurt him. (You will remember, the dog came from an abusive situation) I'm curious why the dog was fine with me at first, and then afraid of me a little while later. Photos of the dog here and here
Other than that, life has been boring. But boring is better than bad...
