(no subject)

So... We had some really bad rain last night. Bad enough that we had flash flooding in a bunch of low spots. We had major highways shut down for a few hours. One of my friends reported that it took three hours to get between two neighboring towns. I had been driving around earlier, and as I drove from notification area to notification area I would get yet another warning flash flood warning. I guess they weren't kidding.

I'm going up to a friend's wedding up in Massachusetts in October. I'm planning on spending two nights there, but the places he had on reserve were just a little out of my price range. So instead I looked up the cheapest places in the area and found the one that looked "better" than the rest, that just happens to be directly across the street from the state police headquarters. Hopefully I'm not kept up all night by people strung out on meth.

My dad called asking me if I want to go down visit my parents. I kinda don't feel like visiting them, because every time I see them they just want to sit around and bs. Don't get me wrong, I love my parents, it's just that I'm using up spoons seeing them. I kind of need to be resting up for the work week ahead. I haven't decided if I'll go down or not.
