Sep. 26th, 2015 10:54 pm- I broke down and got a new iPhone. My old one was a 4S, which was really starting to get wonky because with upgrades it wasn't up to the task anymore. A few times it took a few seconds before it would let me answer my phone. That kind of gave me the hint that it was time to upgrade.
Incidentally, for the iPhone fans, Force Touch is a nifty little feature. So far it seems like a quick way to get into an app to do things you frequently do.
- Silliest thing ever: ShopRite in Toms River had a little "like" machine attached to a shelf midway through the store. So if you liked the store, you pressed a button and it would record a "like."
I declined a press.
- It's one thing to help someone out as they are recovering from something. It can't become a job for the rest of my life, because I have my own life to conduct and my own responsibilities that have to be met. Frankly, it's exhausting after a while. There comes a point where the other person is just going to have to learn how to get things done on their own.
Sorry for vague-posting, but I kind of had to get that one out.
