Jul. 14th, 2013 10:48 pmProbably the best thing I've read about the Zimmerman trial in Florida. Namely, if you aren't familiar with the laws in Florida, and if you didn't see every bit of testimony, you aren't really qualified to make a statement.
A suspect has to be proven in violation of the law in order to be found guilty. If that doesn't happen, then the suspect can't be proven guilty. That's what "innocent until proven guilty in a court of law" means. It doesn't matter what people's gut feelings are, or what the talking heads on Fox and CNN are saying, or anything else. It's all about whether the laws of the State of Florida were broken.
