Aug. 25th, 2008 09:14 pmA kind little group of Jeebus-pushers that calls itself the American Family Association is trying to kick Hallmark into submission for the awful crime of catering to its client base. This client base includes members of the populace whom are *gasp* attracted to people of the same sex, and whom *shock* commit their lives to each other. And they would like to let Hallmark know what they think by petitioning the company with emails.
Of course, the good folks at AFA didn't really think their plan through. Users of the email interface can change the email to say anything they want. As a result, if a person who perhaps was amenable to Hallmark's selling of same-sex marriage cards wanted to let Hallmark know, they can change the message to say so.
You folks know what to do. http://www.afa.net/Petitions/Issuedetail.asp?id=329
Every e-mail counts.
