All this time, I was under the impression that "freedom of religion" by default meant freedom not to practice a religion. Apparently, I was wrong.

I swear, what the fuck is wrong with this country, that a guy who wants to defend his country has to jump through moral hoops and hurdles to do it? As if it isn't embarassing enough that we still won't let people serve due to their sexual orientation (which I don't need to remind anyone is weakening our national defenses and costing the military), now we have this, too?
