Those of you headed down to the shore might want to take the lead shoes off first. Effective tomorrow, the speed limit on the Parkway is dropping to 55 between mileposts 80 and 100 (roughly between Toms River and Asbury Park). Be forewarned.

On a side note, you'd think the operators of a toll road would be able to find funds to design it properly in the first place. I mean, if I'm paying extra to use a certain road, I would expect better service. I'm just sayin'...

So what does one do with bananas that refuse to ripen? I bought bananas that were very green a week ago, and they're just as green as ever. Weird.
