So Grandma's remote stopped working, and she called my parents so I could drive down to her nursing home to fix it. Four kids and eight grandchildren, and she asked for me. I have to stop being so reliable. (Not that I really mind. I make it a point to visit my grandmother when I can, because she's old and she lives in a nursing home.)

Crap. I have to try and wake up somewhat early tomorrow morning so I can get a bunch of errands done that I've been putting off for like forever. Crap. I hate waking up early on weekends. It's a waste of a perfectly good weekend morning.

I have to remember to drop a reply letter to a certain angry fellow in the mail, a few of you know of whom I speak (if you don't know, don't worry about it).

And at some point this weekend, I have to tighten that loose belt on my car that I've been meaning to do for about two months now.

New Clutch album comes out next month.

Whatever. Back to your regularly scheduled lives.

As I'm sure all of you are aware, the USA does not have any nationalized healthcare system. For those that are not fortunate to receive a good bennie package at work or shell out beaucoup buck for a personal policy, precious little is available in the way of healthcare.

While something must be done, I have my misgivings about both a nationalized healthcare system and Bush's proposed tax-credit alternative. I'm really not sure which would be a better system. Maybe some combination of both would work better?

Discuss. And keep it nice, folks. I don't want to see any poo-flinging that usually comes with political discussions.
