Thanks for tuning in to The Rich K Variety Hour!

I tried to work less this week. And I did! Instead of working 54.5 hours I managed to work only 52! Whee!

Grandma turns 86 this week. I think I'll visit her on her birthday. I worry about her. She can't walk around much anymore. She struggles a bit even to get around her apartment.

Saw "Kill Bill Vol. 2" yesterday with my friend John. Excellent stuff, if a bit bizzare. But then, I guess it wouldn't be a Quentin Tarantino film if it wasn't bizzare. I liked that kung fu guy's eyebrows and goatee. Maybe I'll make that my look.

I'm not usually into movie soundtracks, but I just may pick up the Kill Bill soundtracks. Some of that music was quite interesting.

Before the movie we ate at this place "Dave's". Dave's is one of those chain places like Bennigan's or TGIFriday's, which sells pseudo-Mexican food. The food was decent, but they seemed to spread the waitressing a little thin. I think we saw her a total of three times during the course of the meal, which I find a little off-putting. In any case, they had fresh-made corn chips with salsa as an appetizer. I had hot pork quesadillas which were quite tasty and loaded with about as much hot pepper sauce and cumin as I could stand. And I have a pretty high tolerance for hot foods.
