Nov. 21st, 2020 11:04 pm💊 Three months ago, I went to the cardiologist when I was having those heart palpitations. Cardiologist said the palpitations should eventually resolve themselves (and they did), but he wants me to take something for my triglycerides because they are high. But instead of just sending the prescription to my regular pharmacy, he sends it to some crazy mail-order pharmacy. Apparently, this mail order pharmacy has better success getting insurers to pay for the medication, or something like that. This was back in the first half of September.
November 11, two months after the doctor's appointment, they finally call me to confirm, and to get my info to pay the copay. And then they say they're going to send a 90 day supply of the pills right out to me.
Now it's November 21, and I still haven't seen these stupid pills. I'm lucky these are just triglyceride pills, otherwise I'd be dead before they ever got to me.
🤦♀️ Mom is doing her favorite thing in the world, complaining about everything. Now she's complaining because I haven't had a haircut. It's not up to her as to whether I get a haircut. Now I'm determined not to get one.
🦃 Thanksgiving at my parents' house this upcoming Thursday, just me and my parents. I'm curious how this is going to end up, considering my mom's mood.
