Mar. 13th, 2020 09:55 pmAt work, the boss asked us to be ready to work from home, in case the building is forced to close due to coronavirus. So we got instructions on how to log on from home. I'm not thrilled about having to work from home. Believe it or not, I'd rather just go into the office and have all the resources I need on hand. I also don't feel like having to operate my office computer over the internet with the lag that's inherent in that. And it's hard to stay motivated when you have every distraction in your home. But I guess that's what the times call for. So I'm hoping to continue working as I have been, but I'm ready to work at home if need be.
On FB I have one far-right dipshit going on about how everyone's rights are being violated, because her state has ordered movie theaters to close and has disallowed gatherings over 250 people. Fine, whatever. You go catch a movie and get COVID-19 and die. I'd rather not have that happen to me.
