Mar. 17th, 2019 10:00 pmRumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. Sorry for not posting a real post in forever. I absolutely have been reading, though.
----------
My endocrinologist upped my Crestor from 5 to 10 mg. Now I'm feeling more tired and achy, a little like I did when a doctor put me on Lipitor a few years back (but not nearly as bad). I'm thinking the two are probably related. That's just what I need. I already feel tired and out-of-it all the time. Now I'm taking something that makes me feel even more tired and out of it. Blah.
----------
My family found out recently that Uncle Boozy (Remember him? I haven't brought him up in a while...) has stage 4 lung cancer. Right now he's receiving chemo treatment for it, which if successful will extend his life for a few years.
I got a chance to catch up with my cousin (Boozy's son) yesterday. I and a few of his friends gathered at his house to see the St. Patrick's Day parade in his town. He was a bit distraught about his father's diagnosis and current condition, so the group of us helped to comfort him.
I'm not particularly fond of Uncle Boozy, as you can probably guess, but I do feel bad for my cousin. This is going to be a hardship for him and his wife, and for my aunt, for the next few years.

Here, have a song:
