(no subject)

It's dawned on me that I'm having a harder and harder time seeing tiny things up close. When did that happen? Old age is creeping up on me. Time to get hooked up with some bifocals. Bah.

Work is going well, at least. The bosses seem pretty happy with me so far, and the company seems busy. So hopefully I'll be able to stick around for a while.

I got my income taxes done. I ended up owing quite a bit to the feds, which I was expecting since I was on unemployment all that time and I elected not to have money taken out for taxes. Surprisingly, I am getting a little money back from the state.

My little brother is getting married (!), and is having a reception here in NJ for family and his old friends in June. The task of toasting him at the reception falls on me, apparently. So I have to come up with something to say between then and now to give my brother and his soon-to-be wife (sounds weird saying that) a hearty send-off from my family. I'll try not to scare the new wife too much.
