Jun. 11th, 2016 11:07 pmWhile I was overseas last month, there was one particular day where my head was absolutely throbbing. So Grandma asked me if I wanted anything from her drawer of medications that she doesn't use anymore. I skipped past the narcotics, but she had gabapentin. So I took just one, although it was a big 600 mg horse pill. I felt kind of stoned for the day, but I was headache-free for a few days afterwards.
I told my doctor about it. He said, looks like I found my own cure. So I now have a prescription for gabapentin.
