Mar. 7th, 2016 10:20 pmI haven't been around much lately, I know. I don't know if it was the new meds, or me thinking about the trip to Europe, but I've just felt totally blah for the last few weeks. I really hope this passes.
This dog gets me.
At least these pills aren't making me eat, which is kind of nice. I might actually be able to start losing weight again.
This past Saturday, I got volunteered to help my parents remove the carpet from my dad's office/my old bedroom. Apparently it made sense to them to remove the carpet from the office, which wasn't really in that bad shape anyway, and replace it with a piece of the moldy old carpet from the family room. I don't know how that makes sense, but whatever. Dad logic. *shrug*
They are getting a new carpet for the family room. I'm probably going to be stuck helping them putting that carpet in, too.
On the way home, I stopped into Belmont Tavern. I'd heard about how great this place is from locals for a while now, but I never stopped in. The place is a little tiny place, and it's a dive that looks like it hadn't been redecorated in 50 years, but the food is amazing. I got there just as they opened and got Savoy Chicken for takeout. I will have to come back on a weekday one day, when the place isn't a madhouse.
Sunday, I didn't really feel like doing anything, but two of my friends convinced me to go shopping and have lunch with them. So we went down to Jersey Shore Outlets with two of my friends. One of them needed underwear, and apparently that was the place to get it. Friend logic. *shrug*
The owners of the mall are utter bastards for putting the Lindt store there. Their truffles must have some drug in them, because they are absolutely addictive. Thankfully, I was able to muster enough restraint to buy only two of them: one plain white chocolate, and one lemon-lime white chocolate.
