◘ I saw the nutritionist on Tuesday. In the four months since our last meeting, I lost 12 pounds, going from 225 to 213 pounds (lost 5 kg, going from 102 to 97 kg). For my height, this means that I have gone from being classified as obese to classified as overweight, an improvement. Even though I haven't been doing a great job of sticking with the dinners, I did stick with the diet for breakfast and lunch. It looks like it's worked.

I also feel better, and my sleep has improved to where I no longer need to take a trazodone every day to fall asleep. I'm thinking that the added weight and high blood sugar may have been causing the insomnia. Some nights are still a little rough, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was a few months ago.

I also tried on an old pair of khakis with a 36" waist. Lo and behold, they fit. A little tight, but they fit. Two years ago, the 38" pants that I've been wearing were getting tight, and I was considering going up to a 40" waist. (Not sure how pants sizes work around the world, you'll have to convert them yourselves)

If I can get myself back down below 200, I'll be back down to where I was before I gained all that weight from Prozac and hypothyroidism. I see the nutritionist in four months. Hopefully I can maintain this weight loss.

◘ I finally got a chance to have a day to myself today for the first time in a few weeks. Between Easter, that weekend that I worked through, and a bunch of other family stuff, I finally got a day to myself where I could just relax and defrag, and hopefully get some spoons back. Hopefully I'll be able to read your posts more thoroughly than I've been doing.
