(no subject)
Mar. 16th, 2015 09:23 pmI can't read LJ messages on my phone, either on the app, the mobile site, or the full site. Get on that, LJ.
I don't know what the hell has been my problem lately, but I just can't seem to roll out of bed on time. I've been late to work worse than usual every day last week and again this morning. Thank the gods that I picked a career path that isn't strict about being in at 9. Next time I see a psychiatrist, which might be a few months, I'm going to have to bring up the subject of why my thoughts are always racing when it's time for me to go to bed. I end up going to sleep late, and then I oversleep the next morning. Clearly, managing my caffeine intake and my sleep schedule hasn't made a lick of difference.
Speaking of work, they have some internet channel that obviously has a very limited library. I think I heard The Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun" four times today, and probably every day for the last few weeks. Honestly, it's a great song, but give it a break. I swear, if I have to bring my iPod in to work, they're all going to cry.
I never made my way down to see my parents this weekend. Yesterday night we caught up on the phone. It turns out that they were busy on both Saturday and Sunday, so I wouldn't have been able to see them anyway. I am glad they aren't moldering away in retirement. They are actually finding things to do, occupying themselves and having fun. I find that reassuring.
Since I have to hear this song over and over, you can all listen to it too:
