Dec. 11th, 2014 06:04 pmSo my doctor made me visit the nutritionist at his practice. While my eating habits aren't horrendous, they aren't great. I weigh 225 pounds (that's around 102 kg for you metric types), which is slightly obese for my 6'-0" (183 cm) frame, and my blood sugar is becoming an issue. And to make a long story short, I really need to cut the carbs.
( The minutiae of my new diet... )She also wants me to stop using aluminum-containing deodorant. She suggested Toms of Maine brand, which I tried this morning. So far, I'm not really happy with it. It seems to be irritating my skin and isn't working well.
So far, it's day two. I'm on track to stick with the diet for today, but I don't know how long I will be able to hold out.
Here's me enjoying my first salad lunch. I got lazy so I went to a salad place.
I'm not happy about it, but I'm doing it. Salad for lunch, doctor's orders.
