Those of you in the way of the Frankenstorm should get a few gallon-size plastic bottles and put them in the freezer. This way, if the power goes out for an extended period, the frozen water will help to keep your food cold. The time to do this is NOW because it takes a long time to freeze a bottle of water.

Twice last year, many people around New Jersey were without power for a week at a time, first due to Hurricane Irene, and then due to the freak October snowstorm... think about it.

It goes without saying, but if you don't have water, you should stock up.
