Me talking to my mom, in the kitchen kind of near the window and the door to the basement stairs, but I don't remember what the conversation was about or anything. But for some reason, the incident has been stuck in my brain. It had to have been when I was 2 1/2 or 3.
First memory that I know what was a trip to Niagara Falls which was sometime around my third birthday. I remember looking down into the gorge, and seeing the water and foam at the bottom. I also vaguely remember getting my finger caught in my uncle's van door during that trip (I was told by my parents that it was the US Customs guard at the Rainbow Bridge, who closed the door on my finger and apologized profusely when she realized what happened.) The nail on my left index finger has a perpetual chip in it to this day from being slammed in the van door all those years ago.
