After losing my job last month and sleeping until noon for a few weeks, I decided to do something constructive and replace my crappy kitchen cabinets with nicer ones. I figured it would be more constructive than sitting around doing nothing while I was waiting for potential employers to get back to me telling me that they aren't hiring.
The day before the cabinets were due to arrive, my old boss called me and asked me if I wanted my old job back. So I have now been back at work, and I have a ton of kitchen cabinets taking up most of my living room while I'm working a ton of overtime.
I'm not sure if I should be overjoyed that I have work again, or annoyed because my kitchen is in pieces and I can't finish my little renovation project.
