I commented this in someone else's journal, and figured I'd post it here:

I supported Obama, even in the primaries, but I kind of had a feeling this would happen. Obama really seems to be trying too hard to be Mr. Popular, and he's totally failing at it.

I'd rather have him than anybody on the GOP side, and will for as long as the party is run by Rush Limbaugh, but I don't support him the way I did a year ago.

Really, is it that hard to find someone who both supports same-sex marriage and has a brass pair? America needs a modern-day LBJ, or something.
