I'm still debating whether or not I like the Green Day cover of John Lennon's "Working Class Hero." The Green Day version is certainly more accessible to the masses, but it loses a bit of its poignancy and its rawness in its polish and production.
Here's a tip: If you're going to cover a song and splice in a piece of the original, you should really play the song at the same key as the original.
