Feb. 10th, 2007 01:15 pmCold medicine always puts me in this odd zone. It's kind of like a buzz, but without the euphoria. I can't decide if it's a good or bad feeling, though it's better than not being able to breathe.

Those of you metalheads out there, I finally got a chance to really hear the new Trivium album. (I gave the thing a whirl a few months back with
druidheart, but you can't really absorb an album at a party after you've been drinking, with people talking in the next room.) I haven't heard any new bands doing thrash in probably about 15 years. It's a lot like stuff I was listening to as an impressionable teenager, like Anthrax or Megadeth. Good stuff, check 'em out if you're into that kind of stuff.
Funny how 32°F feels so warm after it's been 15° out for a week.
