The city is hiring a team of linguistic experts to help clean up bad translations around town in time for the 2008 Summer Olympics. -Apparently the Nigerian scam is less conspicuous if the scam isn't coming from Nigeria. I got a letter in the mail (actually sent from Spain, for authenticity's sake) saying I can earn up to 20% of an inheritance of someone with no beneficiaries if I'm willing to help some notary in Spain. *crumple* *swish* Nothin' but net.
