Nov. 20th, 2005 05:20 pm-I finally had a chance to go to a Qdoba, at The Mall at Short Hills, after hearing
chinoiserie raving about the place. The food was very good, although I still think that Baja Fresh is a little better. At least Baja Fresh has slightly better nachos. http://qdoba.com/ Now I just have to compare them to Chipotle next time I'm in the city, and my tour of Mexican fast food places will be complete. http://www.chipotle.com/
-In the process of trying Qdoba, I fulfilled my annual quota of going to The Mall at Short Hills. http://www.shopshorthills.com/ I like to go there periodically so I can feel sorry for myself while I browse through clothing that I will never be able to afford. There is no feeling quite like parking my beat-up Mitsubishi with 100,000 miles on it among Lexuses and Mercedes-Benz's.
-I went over the Degner Haüs™ last night, where
damnitnicole and
aradapilot strapped me down and forced me to play Katamari. http://www.namco.com/games/katamari_damacy/ Katamari is actually very addictive. You roll a ball around and stuff sticks to it. It's a simple game premise that is missing from a lot of video games nowadays, which is what turns me off from them. Normally, I can't play anything more complicated than Tetris. So they got me hooked.
-I got
damnitnicole and
aradapilot back by showing them John Waters' "Female Trouble." http://imdb.com/title/tt0072979/ "Female Trouble" is one of the most deliciously awful and tasteless movies ever put on film. They seemed to thoroughly enjoy the film. I know this because most people don't get more than halfway through without gouging their eyeballs out.
