I have a dilemma, more confusing than any of the puzzles I have posted...

As I have probably mentioned several times here, I can't stand most of my extended family (Grandma excluded), to the point that I really think it's better to have nothing to do with them. None of them can stand each other, there's constant drama, etc. When they get together it's nothing but saccharin smiles. The one aunt with a college education stares down her nose at everybody else. One uncle is a perpetual asshole. You get the drill.

I was invited by my aunt (wife of the perpetual asshole) to Thanksgiving Dinner. And to top it off, Stares Down her Nose will be there with her spineless husband. I really don't want to waste my holiday on these creeps. But my mom wants me to go, and I know her feelings will be hurt if I don't go. I already blew the family off last year.

Should I go or not?
