Not another Super Mario Bros. mix

Whoever mixed the Super Mario Bros song into Nine Inch Nails's "Closer" was really stretching it. The song sucks. I heard it on K-Rock on my way back from my parent's house today.

So for Father's Day, my family had OMGWTFBBQ's both yesterday and today. My brother made grilled asparagus, which I've never tried before. It's actually quite tasty. Basically brush asparagus with a little oil and grill until tender. I also made chicken teriyaki which came out perfectly. I found a marinade at my local Food Basics called "Soy Vey," a kosher teriyaki marinade that worked very well.

I'm trying to squeeze a life in between work and sleep. Lately I have not been very successful. The whole routine is killing me. Oh well, I guess that's what I get for being an adult. But I do have a small respite coming my way. Just one week till my vacation.

The fun never ends

I just received a bill for $1924 for some blood tests that I had done when I was at my doctor's office a year and a half ago. And they're only sending the bill to me NOW.

Someone on their end fucked up big time. I'm not paying for someone else's incompetent billkeeping.
