I would just like to say that I am now the proud owner of a rubber chicken. I have been looking for one for a long time, and I finally walked into a store, and there it was! I got the last one.

I went to Rocky Horror for the first time since January or February (Yes, I'm a freak, if you didn't already know that). I met up with [livejournal.com profile] damnitnicole , [livejournal.com profile] degnernj , [livejournal.com profile] chinoiserie , [livejournal.com profile] jennie132 , my friend Auntie John, and a whole slew of people I haven't seen since, well, January or February. This was their last weekly show at the Edison theatre (The show is moving to the Strathmore in Aberdeen next week). So of course tons of people I haven't seen in a long time pretty much came out of the woodwork to be there. And fun was had by all! I just wish I didn't have this stupid chest cold so I could stop horking up balls of phlegm. Then again, everyone else also seemed to have a chest cold, so it didn't really matter anyway. And I got to molest Ryan while [livejournal.com profile] chinoiserie  held him, which is always a plus.

I found out that if you roll paper very tightly, soak it, then let it dry on its own, you can use it like firewood, even in a wood-burning stove. I'll have to try this next time I'm camping. Working in an architectural office, I see tons of paper going into the trash. This looks like one way of reclaiming some of it. Not that most people around the New York metro area have wood-burning stoves or anything. But if we did, we'd have it made.

I'm babbling. I need coffee.
