Christmas sure got earlier this year. I always remembered the Christmas season starting right after Thanksgiving. This year I saw stores decorated a week after Halloween. I fully expect that by the time I'm in my 50's, the Christmas shopping season will start in March or April.

I'm cooking pork chops with potatoes and veggies. This will probably be my source of nourishment until Thanksgiving.

Can anyone use two of those big square 6-volt lantern batteries? They are leftovers from my Halloween costume. They still work and I feel bad throwing them out.
