Nov. 9th, 2004 10:16 pmThe Governor of New Jersey, James E McGreevey, bid adieu today, though he stays on officially through the 15th. His farewell speech covered a few interesting points. After he got through tooting his own horn about his accomplishments, he made a few observations and criticisms about the state and about politics in general. In particular, he made reference to the general direction that the government has been taking. In particular he mentions how dogma is replacing thoughtful discussion. I thought it was interesting enough to make mention of it.
