Oct. 8th, 2004 05:57 pmI got dumped on at work over the last two days. Which means that the database thing didn't get done today because I had to finish a project that another person massively fucked up. Which means I'll be working all day tomorrow doing the database. And no, we don't get Monday off at my job. Oh well, at least it's overtime. And it's an excuse to not have to help my father do heavy masonry work tomorrow.
Monie called me, he said that he took a bus from NYC to Philly. Somewhere around exit 7 on the Turnpike, the bus got a flat tire. So he's been out there about 2 hours waiting for another bus to come and pick them up... I told him if he was really stuck he could call me, but that's about an hour drive from where I live, and as I just mentioned, I have to work tomorrow.
I got two more solicitations from lawyers about the illegal U-turn ticket.
I'm tuning in to watch John Kerry kick the crap out of Dubya again.
EDIT: OK, I admit, Bush did a little better this time. But I still don't agree with his policies. I still think he jumped into Iraq too agressively and that he's alienating other world powers left and right. The USA need someone with a steadier hand in the driver's seat. The USA also could use someone who isn't that far to the [religeous] right.
