Sep. 5th, 2004 12:13 pmI finally got Pink Floyd's "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" album. The last time I purchased it, I was miles from home, and when I got home and opened it, the wrong CD was in the package. And it isn't a very common album for people to have, and I wanted to hear it pretty badly. So when I bought it this time, I opened it as soon as I got out of the store and made sure the right CD was in it. Sure enough, it was. And I was not disappointed. It kind of had that 60's surfer music sound, along with the psychedaelia bit. Interesting.
Next week, I get to watch the dig again. Hopefully, this will be the last time. This stupid dig job is really interfering with my projects at work, and it's very aggravating. Not to mention that my job is to stand there and pick my butt while baking my brains out in the sun. At least it's cooler out than it's been.
How 'bout them terrorists, once again flying in the face of common sense, killing innocent children to scare people into buying some extremist ideal? Every time that we think humanity can overcome evil, it doesn't. I really wish I could do something more from behind my keyboard.
